With the train-the-trainer model, can we continue to offer CHEST training with new staff onboarding in the future, after the first 10? Thinking a year or two ahead after this initial roll out.

Once CHEST certified, what is the frequency or recertification?

15 hours of education every 3 years.

Yes, Allison. Your T-CHEST trainer should continue training EVS personnel as they onboard, using this content. Importantly, it will be good for your T-CHEST trainer to be an AHE member to update training as new information is added. That is a key reason why this program includes a 1-year AHE membership for the T-CHEST trainer.

It is available from anywhere. Annual compter based training at your facility can count.

Yes, we offer ongoing education on virtual platforms

Josephine, this program is currently offered to facilities’ EVS Director/Manager/Primary Trainer whether contracted or employees. Our goal is to provide access to this training to build workforce competencies and support EVS providers to drive improved outcomes.
